Russian language for your travel

Russian language (maternal language of over 130 millions people) is part of the Indo-European language family, like most of the European language (except Finnish, Hungarian, Laponian or Sami, Basque and Estonian). Russian is part of the Slavic family like Bulgarian, Croatian, Serbian, Czech, Slovakian, Slovenian, polish, Ukrainian and Byelorussian

 

Russian is a hard language to learn but still has so common things with English. So don’t surprise to find some words very similar in both language (Russian and English).

 

The Russian alphabet, beside his exotism, isn’t as difficult as it appears. In few hours and with good exercises, you may learn it and be pretty confident to read sign and basic words.
